Q: What do you feel is inherently wrong with the political stance of the world at hand? How useful is politics in this era of world history? How can we artists, people in general, find a better resolve to eliminate if not these issues?

P: O que você acha que esta inerentemente errado com a postura politica do mundo hoje? qual é a utilidade da politica nesta época do mundo? Como podemos como artistas e como pessoas normais achar uma maneira melhor para resolver ou eliminar estes problemas?

OSGEMEOS : Acho que, quem cai lá, já era!, é irrevercivel, acho que a tentação é bem grande, aqui se faz de tudo...quando esta la dentro, a respeit mundial, acho que é a mesma merda em qualquer lugar, uma verdadeira guerra de supremacia, Acho que deveria existir um passaro gigante de nome bilu bilu amarelo com um bico dourado, e penas alaranjadas com uma manxinha azul no meio e que se alimentasse de forças armadas e politicos, outro dia a gente ouviu que por exemplo o Presidente dos EUA acha que a Amazonia pertence a ele... outro dia agente viu, sobre o comercio ilegal de madeira, e de animais silvestres, que sao roubados por extrangeiros de nossa Brasil. ate agente se contaminou com essa coisa de território e fronteiras... defendemos o que é nosso, foi assim que aprendemos, quanto na verdade como por exemplo a Amazonia, é uma preciosidade para todo o planeta terra... Agente tem visto muita coisa ridicula e ve o povo na merda, dando risada, só porque apareceu na tv..., aqui é foda, é um paiz que cada um dita sua propria lei, te dou um exemplo, quando pega fogo
em uma favela, e queima toda, toda a ajuda humanitaria vem do proprio povo, e os politicos nao fazem nada, absolutamente nada.... ao contrario, fazem programas de combate a fome ou qualquer outra coisa pedindo dinheiro do povo, e o brasil é um dos paises que mais se paga impostos...utilidade? ser util a eles....só! é dificil uma pessoa que esta no poder ser util, quando se vive em uma ilha. acho que estes problemas sao inevitaveis, é a guerra pelo poder, pelo dinheiro... acho que isso tem que acontecer, esta escrito...., seguimos a palavra de deus e nao a deles..., acho que nao acabaremos com o problema, mas pelo menos nos fazemos aquilo que queremos e nao damos a minima pra eles, como agente nunca >>deu, acho que tem muita gente com ideias bouas e fazendo muita coisa de elite, indo pra linha de frente e foda-se, mas tem muita gente, com medo, confortada.

OSGEMEOS : We think that those who end up in politics are gone. It's irreversible, temptation is huge, and once you're in, that's it. In world terms its the same shit everywhere, a real supremacy war. We think there should be a a giant yellow bird with a golden beak and orange fathers with a blue spot in the middle that would feed only from armed forces and politics. The other day we heard in the news that Bush believes the amazon belongs to the US, another time we saw news about illegal timber exports and illegal sales of amazon wildlife which are shipped off to other countries for profit. We defend what is ours, but also believe the amazon is precious for the whole planet. We've seen a lot of ridiculous things and see the people living tough times, laughing just because they are on TV. Here things aren't easy, people make their own laws. For example, when a slum burns down, all the help comes from the people themselves, the politicians do nothing about it. Quite the opposite they have things like programs to fight hunger and request money while we pay some of the highest taxes in the world. Their purpose is to be useful but they only help themselves! Its tough for a person in power to be useful living isolated in an island (of wealth). These problems are unavoidable, it's war for power, for money. I guess this has to happen, its' written, we follow god's way, not their way and we don't think this problem will be solved. At least we do what we want to and don't care about them. There are a few people with new, good ideas and going forward doing things, but there are many people which are fearful and comforted.

Q: What is your view on gender roles, the way we view them, if they are necessary, and how effective are they in securing our identities today?

P: Como é a sua visao do papel do homem/mulher, como nós vemos esta visão, se são necessarios, e como é efetiva a distinção entre ambos para assegurar nossa identidade hoje em dia?

OSGEMEOS: Acho que toda criação de Deus é perfeita, o ser umano é que modifica ela, em todas as formas imaginarias, todo mundo precisa de um parceiro, mas hoje esta as coisas estao mais dispersas, esta epoca é como as outras, é so como uma readapitação, o ser umano é um bando de carente em busca de algo de os satisfaça...

OSGEMEOS : We think god's creation is perfect, everyone needs a partner but today things are more dispersed. Humans are in need of something to satisfy themselves.

Q: In terms of global culture, do you think we are at a positive point in evolution? Where do you think we are going? Do you think we are better off than we were 10years ago? Any Resolutions? Which culture do you feel best reflects your sense of self? And what issues do you see plaguing that community?

P: Em termos de cultura global você acha que estamos em um momento positivo na evolução? Onde você acha que estamos indo? Você acha que estamos melhor que há dez anos atrás? alguma resolução? Que cultura você acha que representa melhor a si próprio? e que questões você ve atrapalhando essa comunidade?

OS GÊMEOS : Acho que a cultura dos povos, as culturas regionais, sempre estiveram em um patamar muito inteligente, muito acima, e sempre se renovando, evoluindo, se transformando, mantendo uma indentidade viva, mas muito disto é esmagado e escondido por puras merdas, que nao tem beneficios nenhum e a nada, parece que isso é um problema Global sete sentido, tudo que é bom e que " diz" fica escondido e não se pode mostrar, acho que isso é medo, os artistas podem transformar as coisas....agora aonde estamos indo? isso só deus sabe... nos vivemos o hoje, foda-se o que passou!, e nao temos a minima ideia do que vira, sei que vamos ver muitas merdas rolando pelo mundo...ainda. Acho que essa parada de estar melhor que dez anos atraz é muito particular de cada ser humano hoje em dia, depende do que é estar melhor, com si mesmo ou com um homem que se diz Presidente dono mundo, de um pedaço de terra, defendendo a privacidade da população. depende em que fator vamos falar, de um > modo geral, acho que esta na mesma merda, as vezes, uma invenção ou uma conquista, pode se tornar tanto estupida, quanto ser dono de um pais, voce viu? pro ser humano, nunca esta bom, voce ja imaginou o que ja foi depositado de LIXO, nos mares em todo o mundo? o que ja fizeram com o espaço, depositando lixos espaciais, e conquistando, competindo, querendo mostrar que são melhores e maiores que os outros, uma guerra infinita pelo puro prazer do poder... Cultura que representa a si proprio?, a si proprio acho que uma mescla de tudo um pouco, e muita coisa que agente anda vai colocar dentro, mas de uma forma mas Brasileira, acho que a nossa cultura, pra nós é a mas rica que ja vimos, em termos gerais, em todos os aspectos, nos vemos o caso do indio, de uma forma brasileira e Global, o que fizeram com ele....acabou!, nao tem mas respeito, o homem branco fudeu tudo!

OSGEMEOS : In terms of culture, regional cultures have always been on a high level, evolving, keeping their identity alive, but all this is crushed by pure shit, which benefit nobody, it seems like a global problem, all that is good remains hidden and cannot be shown, we think its fear, artists may change things but where are we going now? Only god knows. We live today, fuck what's behind! We don't have the slightest idea what will happen, we know we'll see many nad things happening in the world... Still. We think the idea of being better than ten years ago is very relative and different for each person nowadays. It depends on what that means, better with oneself, or with a president that feels he owns the world, or with a plot of land, defending the population's privacy. Depends on how one sees it. In general terms we think its the same shit, sometimes a conquest may become stupid, like being the owner of a country. Can one imagine the amount of trash that has been deposited in the oceans? What's been left in space, and fighting and conquering an competing, trying to prove they are better than others, in an infinite war for the pure pleasure of power. Culture that represents itself? A mixture of everything, many things we'll still put into it, more in a brazilian way, we think our culture is the richest we've seen, in every aspect, we see the what they've done to the indians here, they are gone! no respect, white man fucked up everything!

Q: How do we view ourselves, positively or negatively? Do you think in general, people have positive self-image of themselves? In your community, is self-love or positive self-image a reality?

P: Como nós vemos a nos mesmos, positivamente ou negativamente? Você pensa que no geral as pessoas tem uma imagem positiva delas mesmas ? Na sua comunidade amor próprio e autoimagem positiva são uma realidade?

OSGEMEOS : Bom, acho que apesar de tanta merda rolando todos os dias, temos um lado bem grande positivo, mas ocilamos com o lado negativo as vezes, na real é dificil de achar que esta tudo bem, vendo o mundo do geito que ta... mas agente acredita em algo muito maior que isso aqui...coisa nossa, que sempre existio dentro de nos e que nos leva seguir a vida e ver as coisas mais simples da vida....acho que aqui no brasil, as pessoas estao sempre de bem, o > mundo pode estar acabando ai fora, o brasileiro esta feliz tomando sua cervejinha e fazendo piada do que ta rolando..., o brasileiro tem um estilo proprio de ser, coisa que agente nao ve em lugar nenhum, é um povo aberto, receptivo, amoroso, e sempre de bem com a vida, é como te dicemos o mundo pode estar acabando no dia do carnaval ai fora, que eles estao la fazendo o melhor que podem pra fazer o melhor show...isso é muito foda! estamos sempre rindo...de bem com a vida, aqui uma pessoa nunca te vio na vida e ja fica sua amiga, troca uma puta ideia, ou te da um tiro so por que você olhou feio pra ela.

OSGEMEOS : Well, besides all the shit going on every day, we have a big positive side, but we have our ups and downs. Actually its' hard to think everything is ok, seeing the way the world is. But we believe there is something greater than this, something inside that always existed and will lead us to keep going and to see the simpler things in life... We think here in Brazil people always appear to be fine, even when the world is falling to pieces brazilians are happy having their beer and making jokes about what is going on. Brazilians have their own way of being, something we don't see anywhere else, open people, receptive, loving, and always carrying on happily, the world may be ending but on carnival they are trying to put on the best show they can... That's really incredible. We are always laughing. Someone here you've never seen before shows up and you have a great conversation, exchange great ideas, or just shoots you cause they don’t like how you looked at them.

Q: What do you feel is disturbing or not about religion? Should religion hold a valid place in our lives? Why yes or why not?

P: O que te incomoda sobre a religiao? A religiao tem um lugar valido em nossas vidas? Porque sim ou porque nao?

OSGEMEOS : Não sei se chamamos isto de religião, mas acreditamos
em Deus e na biblia, acreditamos que tudo é uma preparação de
Deus, na nossa vida, pelo menos pra nos , estamos bem , nos
sentimos bem assim, e protegidos...acho que de uma forma geral agora a ser humano tem buscado muito as religioes, acho que nao importa qual seja, o que importa que devemos estar bem com a sua e ficar em paz, buscar, de uma forma que ache que seja valido, uma paz interior, que conforte agente nos momentos que precisamos...

OS GÊMEOS : We don't know if we call this religion but we believe in god and the bible, we believe our lives are a form of preparation we feel good like this, protected, in genearl terms humans have a need for religion but it doesn't matter which one only we have to be at peace, searching for interior peace to comfort us in the moments we need it...

Q: In terms of sexuality, are we moving in a positive direction in comparison to your parent's generation? What does sexuality mean to you? And relationships, all things considered, do you believe, that our relationships with one another, our families, and loved ones, do you believe they are healthy and nurturing?

P: Em termos de sexualidade, estamos indo em uma direcao positiva em comparaçao com os nossos pais? O sexualidade significa para voce? E relacionamentos uns com os outros, com a familia e os nossos amados, sao saudaveis e nos fazem bem?

OSGEMEOS : é dificil falar de uma forma geral, acho que no mundo de hoje, todo mundo faz o que ta afim e o que quer a hora que quer, da forma que quer... muita coisa mudou da epoca de nossos pais sim, hoje as coisas sao mais faceis e nao chocão mais ninguem. Mais ta ai, pra ser feita, achoque se voce tem a conciencio e ta legal com que ta fazendo, esta bem da forma que ta, esta otimo...ja era..., acho que a relação com o amor familiar, e muito importante em todos os aspectos, mantem uma coisa viva, e fortalece nossa vida, tem gente que diz que mae agente so da valor quando perde, mas é mais ou menos por ai, “devemos amar os outros como se nao houvesse o amanha”....

OSGEMEOS :Its tough to speak in general terms, most people in the world today do what they feel like when they feel like it, many things have changed since our parents time, today things are easier and don't shock anyone. But if one is aware of what one is doing, that's fine. The relation with a loving familiy is really important it keeps one alive and strenthens our life, people say one only values things when we lose them, "we should love others like there is no more tomorrow"...

Q: Do you feel the global community is more accepting of race and ethnicity?

P: Voce acha que a comunidade global esta aceitando mais a variedade de raças e etnias?

OSGEMEOS : Não

OSGEMEOS: No.

Q: Have we grown to appreciate diversity?

P: Aprendemos a apreciar a diversidade?

OSGEMEOS: nao sei de uma forma geral, mas no nosso caso, estamos
aprendendo, é dificil, ainda mais em um pais como o Brasil...

OSGEMEOS :We don't know in general terms, but in our case we are learning, it's hard, even more so in a country like Brazil...

Q: What does self-expression mean to you?

P: O que auto-expressão (expressão pessoal) significa pra voce?

OSGEMEOS :significa que nois nao concegue fica queto, e devemos encontrar formas que conceguimos vomitar isso pra fora....sempre.

OSGEMEOS :It means we can't stand still, we must find forms we throw outside ... Always.

Q: What does "fucked" mean to you?

P: Que FODIDO significa pra você?

OSGEMEOS :viver submisso em função dos outros e pro outros... e milhoes de outras coisas, que não queremos citar....

OSGEMEOS :living in submission, for others and millions of other things we prefer no to mention right now.
